OBIT:Mrs. Sue L. Derrick, resident of Wapanucka for many years until she moved to Tulsa two years ago, died Friday at 1 p.m. at Tulsa after an illness of three months. She was 78. Funeral services were held Saturday at Bromide with burial there. Coulter-Brown Funeral Home of Tulsa in charge.Mrs. Derrick was born in Hawkins County, Tennessee, moving to Oklahoma in 1893 and living in and around Wapanucka until she move to Tulsa.Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Mollie Coffman of Tulsa and Mrs. Hanes Rhea of Milburn; sons, Mike of Ada and Fred of Norman; 20 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.Ada Evening News, April 10, 1955
