Ellen, wife of James Laughlin, of 179 Howard Street, died suddenly yesterday afternoon of pleurisy, aged 54 years. She is survived by her husband and the following children: Mrs. John Maurer, of South Easton; Mrs. Patrick Fehely, Thomas, Philip, Hugh, James and William Laughlin, all of Phillipsburg; also by her father, Jacob Wettlaufer, of Phillipsburg, and the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. C. J. Boyle, Philip, Hugh and John Wettlaufer, all of Phillipsburg; Mrs. Thomas Mulhearn, of New York, and Mrs. James Ryan, of Jersey City. She was a member of Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church.
