South Royalton, Sept. 22—The funeral of Bertram A. Albro, 77, who died suddenly at his home Saturday, was held yesterday at the Bohonnon Funeral Home. Burial was in the Ward family lot in Branchview Cemetery. Mr. Albro was born in Portsmouth. R. I., and educated at Boston University. He taught in high schools, including two years in the Philippine Islands, until 1947 when, as head of the Latin department at Winchester, Mass., he retired, from teaching. Since then he and Mrs. Albro have lived in South Royalton. Besides his wife, the former Ada Ward, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Gutter of Rochester, N. H., a son, Dr. Ward Albro of Hanover, N.
