Eslte W. "Skinny" Roller, 75, 1611 S. J St., died Tuesday at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 1, 1919 in Perkinsville to William Harrison and Mildred Florence (VanHorne) Roller.
In 1950 he married Ruth Goetz. He was retired from Fettig's Canning Company after 45 years of service, and belonged to the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include two daughters, Patty Geddrie of Selma, and Barbara Rasnake of Morgantown; a sister, Helen Bannon of Elwood; four brothers, Lawrence Roller of Frankfort, Fred Roller, Dick Roller, and Theodore Roller, all of Elwood; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Copher and Fesler Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Becker officiating. Burial will be at Elwood City Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
