William G. Bargdill, 79, of Ostrander passed away Tuesday morning, April 22, 2014, at the Arbors at Delaware. He was born April 3, 1935, in Delaware to Harry H. and Mary Jane (Kraus) Bargdill. He was a truck driver for Gould in Delaware and McFarland's in Mt. Vernon. Bill was baptized Catholic and attended St. Mary Catholic Church in Delaware. He was a member of the Eagles #376 of Delaware and the Marysville Moose Lodge. Bill enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing and woodworking. He also enjoyed collecting, setting up and displaying model trains, especially during the holidays with his Christmas Village. Left to cherish his memory are his two sons; a grandson; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; two sisters; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Annette Hazelwood, Rosemary Hinderlong, Deborah Bargdill and Joann Miller and brothers Woodrow "Buss," Charles "Babe," Harry Richard "Dick" Bargdill and an infant brother Harry Frederick Bargdill. There will be no calling hours or funeral services observed. The Snyder Rodman Funeral Center has been entrusted with carrying out Bill's final wishes.
