Kathy Ann Alexander Foster, 66, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019.

She was born in Gaston County, daughter of the late Charlie Randolph and Mable Greene Alexander.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Reid Foster, Sr. and her siblings, Frank Floyd, Helen Harris, Vivian Barker, Mary Willard, Geraldine Alexander and Charlene Hoefle.

She was a member of Community Pentecostal Holiness Church, Stanley.

A loving mother and grandmother, Mrs. Foster is survived by her children, Roger Reid Foster, Jr. and wife, Kelly and Charlie Carlton Foster and wife, Rebecca; her sisters, Sue Powell and Georgia Shipman; her grandchildren, Emily Foster, Taylor Foster, Brooklyn Foster, Claira Foster and Wyatt Foster; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Foster will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly with Rev. Eddie McGinnis officiating. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Woodlawn Funeral Home of Mount Holly is serving the Foster family.
