Family will receive friends for Susan from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2019 at Stevenson Funeral Home, Dickinson. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Susan Jayne Keller was born March 18, 1958, in Alaska, the daughter of Eugene and Marlene (Rykowski) Keller. She grew up in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School in 1976, and followed that with a year of college at Dickinson State College. Susan met Kenneth Sand and the two were married on January 16, 1981 in Dickinson. To this union Bradley and Rebecca were born. Susan and Kenneth made their home in Dickinson where they continued to raise their family. Susan loved to garden, crochet and do word searches. She also enjoyed walking, thrifting and going to many garage sales in the area. Susan was a fan of country music. She loved spending time with her family, especially enjoying her time with her grandchildren.
Susan is survived by her son, Bradley (Dena) Sand; daughter, Rebecca Sand; grandchildren, Dante Ballesteros, Damien Ballesteros, and Lauren Sand; mother, Marlene Stanley; brothers, Mike Keller, Steve (Linda) Stanley, Arthur (Rita) Stanley; sisters, Laura (Barry) Meduna, Michelle (Craig) Sickler, Gail (Pam) Smithstan; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Sand; father, Eugene Keller; step father Roger Stanley; and sister-in-law, Holly Strom.
