Florence, age 86, passed away at Windsor Place in Coffeyville. She was the daughter of Alva and Dolly (Thorpe) Lindesmith. She graduated from Field Kindley Memorial High School in Coffeyville. She married William J. Chance on December 23, 1942, in San Diego, California. Survivors include her children, Harold Chance, Diana Flanders, and Deborah March, four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her brother, Larry Lindesmith. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother, John Lindesmith, and her grandson, Jeromy Flanders. Graveside services were held at Veterans Memorial Patio in Fairview Cemetery. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
