Willie 'Billie' Cline Kniffen, 92, of Abilene, died Tuesday, November 25, 2003 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 p.m. at North's Memorial Chapel with Weldon Gann officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Park Cemetery directed by North's Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 242 Orange.

Mrs. Kniffen was born in Anson, Texas where she was a 1930 graduate of Anson High School. She came to Abilene in 1934. She was a life member of the Lions Club childrens camp and a Lioness club member. She married Ed Kniffen in 1940 in Baird, Texas and together they owned and operated Ed Kniffen Sheet Metal for 40 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Her husband of 51 years, her parents and 13 brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
