Grady Ashcraft, 84, of Warren, died Monday at Bradley County Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 29, 1920, at Rye (Cleveland County), a son of the late Eugene Ashcraft and Katherine Roberts Ashcraft.
He served in the Army.
He was a retired construction worker for Brown-Roots.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Fisherman's Sunday School Class.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, T.K. Ashcraft, James Ashcraft and Garner Ashcraft; and seven sisters, Edna Reep, Pina Lynn, Willie Young, Vera Curry, Lillian Curry, Mammie McClain and Pauline Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Robbie Mercer Ashcraft, whom he married on April 17, 1948, at Warren; one daughter, Cassandra Ashcraft Hackett of Little Rock; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Burial will be in Union Cemetery at Rye.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Veterans Museum, First United Methodist Church or to Union Cemetery.
