YORK Maria K. Dupler, 83, of Hellam Township, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Dale L. Dupler. Maria was born in York, on August 5, 1927, a daughter of the late John Kauffman, Sr. and Mary (Myers) Kauffman.
Mrs. Dupler retired as a floor lady with Hellam Hosiery after 55 years of service. She was a 1945 graduate of Hellam High School. Maria was a member of Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church and the Hellam Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Dupler is survived by a son, Michael L. Dupler and his wife, Deb of Hellam; a daughter, Marilyn L. Henise and her husband, Marv of Yorkana; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Following cremation, a memorial service will be 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2010, at Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church, 85 Old Church Lane, York. Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. Marion Haynes-Weller. A visitation will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kreutz Creek Presbyterian Church, 85 Old Church Lane, York, PA 17406; or Heartland Hospice, 3417 Concord Road, York, PA 17402.
