Mr. Douglas Steve Borden, age 77, of Shepherdsville returned to his Heavenly father on August 29, 2019. Mr. Borden was born on March 8, 1942 in Reynoldsville, Ohio. He was a troubleshooter for the city of Columbus, Ohio and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Among those that preceded him in death are his father; mother, Sylvia Borden; and mother-in-law, Ruth Skeens. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 5 years, 3 children; 2 granddaughters; stepchildren, and 14 step-grandchildren. The family has chosen cremation.
