ABBATE. Salvatore A. Abbate Jr., 27, of 287 Elm St., Windsor Locks, died Wednesday (Aug. 1). He was born In Hartford, son of Salvatore A. and Ledia (Cornelio) Abbate Sr., and had lived in Windsor Locks all his life. He attended St. Mary's School; Windsor Locks High School and Porter & Chester Institute, Enfield. For the last year he had been employed as a service technician for the W.C. Bonner Co. of Watertown, Mass. Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife, Susan (Mandirola) Abbate; a sister, Mrs. Dean (Maria) Rlbaudo Jr. of Windsor Locks; his grandmother, Mrs. Concettina Cornelio of Hartford, and a nephew. Funeral service will be Saturday, 9:15 a.m., from the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., followed by a mass of Christian burial, 10 a.m., in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. His family will receive friends today, 6-9 p.m., at the funeral home.
