Akai Lawton Shygarrien Daniels, age 27 entered eternal rest at his residence on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. He was born in Bulloch County to Mr. Johnnie Daniels and Joander Terrell on October 21, 1986. Akai "Lawton" attended the Public Scholl Systems in Tattnall and Toombs County. He also attended Job Corps in Kentucky and earned a certificate in Culinary Arts. He was employed by Dairy Queen Franchise, Clyde's, Chili's, and most recently by Gata's in Statesboro, GA for the past two years. Everyone knew of him by his cooking. He absolutely loved to cook and it was one of his favorite pastimes that everyone seemed to enjoy as well. His Church affiliation was Holy Temple Pentecostal Church of Glenville, GA where he was under the Leadership of Pastor Dexter Edwards. He was preceded in death by Grandparents: Tom and Willie Mae Chaple; and Isaac Daniels, Sr. Uncle: Marty Chaple. His memories will always be cherished by a Devoted Mother: Joander (Charles) Terrell of Vidalia, GA. His Father: Johnnie Daniels of Reidsville, GA. Two Sisters: Nastassja (Michael) Dekle of Statesboro, GA; and Courtney Daniels (Kilpatrick Lee) of Lyons, GA. Fraternal Grandmother: Callie Mae Fields of Claxton, GA. Three Uncles: Izel Chaple; Isaac Daniel, Jr.; and Arnelle Daniels all of Reidsville, GA. Two Aunts: Iileen (Rev. B.W.) Williams of Lake Worth, FL; and Vickie Chaple of Claxton, GA. Four Great Aunts: Eula Singleton; Margie Geiger; Rosetta McKever; and Johnnie Mae Kennedy all of Claxton, GA. Two Nieces: Suniyah Lee; and Jurni Dekle. Three Nephews: Zaylen Davis; Kilpatrick Lee III; and Kayson Lee. Two Special Friend Kim Brown of Reidsville, GA; and Paige Carrington of Statesboro, GA. And a host of other loving relatives and friends also survived.
