Richard W. Russo, Sr., a 41 year resident of Havertown, Pa passed away Wednesday November 6, 2019 at Lankenau Hospital. He was born June 11, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pa to Margaret Valente and Constantino Andrew Russo. .
He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Buisness. He is a retired Accountant from UGI Corporation. He also served in the US Army Reserves
Richard's favorite love in life was his granddaughters and secondly playing golf. He also donated his time and accounting skills for Visions for Equality.
He was predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Jane O'Toole Russo and his brother Robert Russo. He is survived by his children: Richard W. Russo, Jr, Linda M. Russo, MD, Stephen Russo, PhD (Labiba), granddaughters: Natalie and Julia Russo and the extended Russo and O'Toole families.
Family and friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 AM followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM Monday November 11 in Annunciation BVM Church, Brookline Blvd, Havertown. Interment is in SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pa.
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the J Foundation, PO Box 141, Thornton, Pa 19373 or to Vision for Equality, 718 N. Arch St, 6th Floor, Phila., Pa. 19106
