* Nimrod was killed in an accident in Bippus, Huntington, Indiana on September 4, 1903. According to an article in The Washington Times (Washington, DC), dated September 6, 1903, his siblings refused to inform their mother that he was dead. They also refused to claim his body or pay any funeral expenses. The authorities in Huntington, Indiana donated his body to the Ft. Wayne Medical College.

DAVIS, ACHSAH LAVINIA. On Saturday, January 3, 1948, at her home, Rockville, Md., ACHSAH LAVINIA DAVIS, widow of the late Silas Wright Davis. Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eugene Landers and Mrs. Z.M. Walters; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services on Monday, January 5, 2 p.m., from her granddaughter's home, Mrs. B. Dorsey Downey, Olney, Md. Interment Laytonsville, Cemetery.
