OLLIE E. WHITAKER - Ollie E. Whitaker, 75, of Marysville died Saturday, May 22, 2004, at her home surrounded by her loving family after a long courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was a past longtime member of the Marysville Moose Lodge and VFW and the Circleville Eagles Lodge. She was a lifelong seamstress. ' She was born March 28, 1929, in McDowell County, W.Va., to the late Floyd and Ruena Hall Barlow; two great-grandsons, William and Stephen Lewis; 13 brothers and sisters; and in 1992 by her husband, the Revi Carl H. Whitaker.

She is survived by her children, the Rev. Carl (Cindy) Whitaker Jr. ! of Tennessee, Carole (Barry) HooperofWesterville, Joyce (William) Lewis and Janice (Steve) Lewis of Plain City and Brenda (Frank) Lewis and Gloria (Tim) Ferrell of. Marysville; 17 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and an ex-daughter-in-law, Betsy (Whitaker) White.

Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Plain City with the Rev. Peter Miller officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice, 1 13 S. Main St., Marysville.
