Roy Adams, 69 years of age of Fleming Neon passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 16, 1948 in Dorton to the late Troy and Daisy Mae Ray Adams.
Roy was a tipple operator and ran a dozer most of his life for a strip mines.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Chester Junior Adams, Larry Joe Adams, one sister; Irene Bentley.
He is survived by his wife; Reba Stewart Adams, one daughter; Marlena (Kenneth) Holbrook of Neon, two brothers; Roger Adams of Topmost, Arthur Adams of Dry Creek, three sisters; Kathy Charles of Raccoon, Geneva Bentley of Jackhorn, Kaye Pratt of Abingdon, VA., three grandchildren; Lauren Holbrook, Lucas Holbrook, Lane Holbrook.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:00 PM at the Neon Church of Christ with Johnny King and Frank Fleming officiating. Burial will follow in the Bentley Family Cemetery at Hemphill, Ky..Younts Branch.
