Kara was born to Kevin and Kathy (Herr) Garner in Houston Texas.
She grew up with her mother in Indianapolis, Indiana area. She graduated from High School in 2002. Her step dad Art Patterson adopted her when she was very young.
Kara went to school to be a Medical Assistant. She loved people. She had the prettiest smile and the curliest dark hair. Her hair had ringlets when she got it wet. She smiled a lot.
She is survived by her mother Kathy, Art, her half sister Erin, Her biological father Kevin Garner. Two half sisters Elizabeth and Kelsey Garner.
She disliked ketchup, didn't like the color red, was left handed and was a soft spoken old soul.
Her mother was kind enough to let her visit us as a teenager.
In October 2004 She was diagnosed with NON-Hodgkins Lymphoma. She fought a good fight. Kevin got the call on an autumn day in November that she went to be with Jesus.
Rest in Peace Kara. God speed. You will never be forgotten.
