Neenah -- Aaron E. Ponto, 64, 736 Maple St., Neenah, died at 6:05 a.m. Monday after a lengthy illness.

A Neenah resident most of his life, Mr. Ponto was born in Randolph, Wis., on April d, 3/8 (sic). He was a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering, and a retired member of American Company, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was also a member of the Germania Church, Neenah.

Survivors are his wife, Adeline; two sons, James Appleton, and Lt. Robert Ponto, stationed with the Air Force Base, Clearfield, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Edwin Dobberstein, New London; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. G.A. Schaefer at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Neenah. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Neenah.

Friends may call at the Westgor Funeral Home, Neenah, from 4 p.m. Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday, and then at the church from noon until the hour of service.
