The 1870 census shows him living with his second wife, Fanny, along with children Sarah, Indiana, Wayne, James W, Emma J. And Harriet E
The 1880 census shows both William G and Fannie living in Reeve township with children Wayne, James W., Emma J., Harriet, Etta and Clara.
William G. Died sometime between 1880 and 1894 when Fannie remarried. It is believed that he was buried in Old Union Cemetery although no stone is found. Both of his wives are buried here as well as children.
