Elisa Bertrand was born on February 22, 1878 in Ste. Scholastique, Quebec, Canada to Olivier and Basilice (Neveu) Bertrand. She married Louis Joseph Lafontaine on April 30, 1919. She died on July 25, 1945 at the age of 67.
