Pamela Jean Aalbers, age 69 of Ottumwa, Iowa passed away on October 11, 2019 at her home after a tough battle with cancer, under the care of Hospice of Davis and Wapello Counties. She was born on June 14th 1950 to Francis and Marcene Wagner.
Pam married Richard Aalbers on October 31, 1967 and they were blessed with three children, Buffy, Richard Jr., and Jamie. Pam worked for many years as an in-home health care provider through the Ottumwa Hospital before becoming an insurance agent. She retired for health reasons. Pam's family was her passion in life.
She is survived by her husband, Rick of Ottumwa; two sons, Rick Jr. Aalbers, Jamie (Emily) Aalbers both of Ottumwa; four grandchildren, Danelle (Alex) Amos, Lukus (Leslee) Brown, Hunter Aalbers and Charlie Hernandez. She is also survived by one great granddaughter, Natalie Jo Brown, sister, Janet (Dick) McCoy of Minnesota, and brother, Pat Wagner of Ottumwa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Marcene Wagner, daughter, Buffy; granddaughter, Buffy JoAnn Brown, and a brother, Mike Adams.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Sinnott Funeral Home, 201 McKinley Ave, Ottumwa, Iowa. 52501 with Pastor Jeremy Skinner officiating. A funeral luncheon will follow services at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davis and Wapello Counties.
