Gloria was born in Rochester, NY on May 27, 1923. She was a long term resident of Alexandria, MN since 1964 when her husband Bruce P. Smith, had purchased the "Hamm's Beer" distributorship in Alexandria. Therefore, the family moved from Faribault, MN which was Bruce's hometown to Alexandria for the start of the new school year, fall of 64. Gloria passed away peacefully under Knute Nelson Hospice Care on April 26th, she was 95 years old.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Bruce; parents Frederich & Grace Bardeau; sister Grace (Ray) Laws; sister in-law Olive Caron; brothers-in-law George and Dr. Wayne Smith; and father- and mother-in-law Lucias and Emma Smith. Bruce and Gloria Smith had four children.
