David E. Bratt, 75, of 620 Campbell Ave., died at 12:15 a.m. today at his home.
Mr. Bratt was born May 27, 1879 in Portsmouth, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ernest Bratt.
He was an insurance agent for Western & Southern Life Insurance Co. for 30 years retiring in 1945.
Surviving are his wife, Ethel; three sons, Harry William of Columbus, Clyaton D., 1802 Kendall Ave., Albert Charles, 1644 Seventh St.; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Vice of Portsmouth Rt. 3; a brother, Frost Bratt of Columbus; a sister, Mrs. Mae Morrison of Columbus; six grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Mabel, his second wife, Grace, a son, three daughters, two brothers, and a sister.
Mr. Bratt was a member of the First Christian Church.
Funeral services are to be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Brock Funeral Home with Rev. Ernest L. Ford in charge. Burial is to be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 tonight.
