William Oliver Swaisgood, 79, died Monday, July 9, 2007, at his home in Findlay.
He was born April 12, 1928, in rural Helena, to Oliver and Sara (Hower) Swaisgood. On April 16, 1949, he married Ethel Mae Dieter in Risingsun, and she survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jerry (Linda) of Helena and Larry (Deloris) of Cincinnati; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Wayne of Florida and Ernest of Fremont.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Luella Dierker; and brothers, Donovan and Louis.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Scott-Trinity United Methodist Church, 6075 CR 11, Risingsun.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Mann-Hare-Hoening Funeral Home, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, OH 44830. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery in Scott Township.
Memorials may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church Building Fund, Findlay; Scott Trinity United Methodist Church, Risingsun; or Bridge Home Health and Hospice, Findlay.
