William Heyward Armstrong, age 77, of Rabon Road, Laurens, SC and husband of Ruby Davis Armstrong passed away on October 12, 2019, at St. Francis Downtown Hospital.
Born in Laurens, SC he was the son of the late William Albert and Agnes Martin Armstrong. A member of Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, he was a retired machinist having worked with Byars Machine Shop and American Metric.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: his children, James Armstrong and wife Ellen of Gray Court, SC and Michael Armstrong and wife Stephanie of Laurens, SC; and grandchildren, Elaine Armstrong, Wil Armstrong and Aubrey Armstrong.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Mullinax.
