Margaret Ruth Finney, 71, Topeka, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2000, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Oct. 15, 1928, in Paris, Ark., to Fred and Thelma Lee Phillips.
She married Emil Seifert in 1947 in Paris, Ark. They were divorced.
She married John Finney in 1965 in Topeka. They were divorced.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Seifert and Jay Finney, both in Topeka; a daughter, Phyllis Pennington, Pismo Beach, Calif.; a brother, Bob Phillips, Paris, Ark.; a sister, Wanda Lee Wills, Hammond, La.; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Finney was cremated. Memorial services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
