- HENRY MOYERS DEAD -
Mr. Henry Moyers died at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Emory B. Spangler, at the old Moyers home place near Covington, Sunday evening at 7 o'clock, after a brief illness. Death was caused from pneumonia.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Moyer, who were among the early settlers of the county. Mr. Moyers was a native Alleghanian and was born and raised at the old Moyers home place near Covington. He was in his 64th year.
Mr. Moyers was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by one son, Mr. Will Moyers, of Covington, and two daughters: Mrs. Ed. Petty,of Goshen, Va., and Mrs. Emory M. Spangler, who lives at the home place.
The funeral was held Tuesday at 9 o'clock from the Grace Mission Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Thomas K. Young. Staunton Daily Leader, December 22, 1915 .
