James "Jimmy/Jim" Koper, 73, of Weeki Wachee, passed away on October 16, 2019 at Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point in Hudson, Florida, after a tragic automobile accident.  Jimmy, as his family called him, was born on September 2, 1946 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Irvin and Sophie (Kowalski) Koper.

He attended grade school at St. Hyacinth Roman Catholic Church and graduated high school from St. Elizabeth Catholic School, both in the Poletown area of Detroit, Michigan.
