Geneva Georgina Bridges married George Gordon King. George Gordon King lived (Nov 23, 1912 - 3 February, 2005) He was Born in Patullo, Morley, Rainy River District, Ontario Canada. He Died 3 February, 2005 Atikokan, Rainy River District, Ontario, Canada.

They had 4 children together, Eleanor Georgina Sawka, Margaret (Madeline), Robert Harrison (Bob) and Frank Gordon. She and her husband Gordon (George) separated, but Georgina was a strong and capable woman, who did what was needed to provide for and raise their 4 children. She was like a mother should be, brave, resilient and selfless in what she gave to have her family in order to survive in a time in history that was hard.

She suffered greatly when her oldest child Eleanor died suddenly. Eleanor was only 20 years old. She was a young mother and left behind a baby daughter. Georgina was a loving and faithful Grandmother to Eleanor's daughter while she lived with her for a short time in Portage La Prairie until the age of 3.

At the end of her life, it was said that she loved people and loved to laugh. She lived all her life in Portage La Prairie until she died on January 18, 1994. It was her hometown, where many of her sisters lived also.
At the young age of 76, her family and friends had to say goodbye. She was interned at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Portage, in the Garden Of Devotion.

Though her life on earth has passed, she has continued on to eternity. We look forward to the happy times we will share together there, reunited and enjoying perfect love. We lean into God's promise in His Word Revelation 21:4 where it says "God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." All things will be made new.
