Anita Jean Jones, age 67 of Chub Run Road, Mt. Clare, WV departed this life on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008 in the United Hospital Center. She was born in Clarksburg, WV on Aug. 23, 1941,
a daughter of the late Lewis Warner Curkendall, Sr. and Mildred E. (Jett) Curkendall.
Surviving are her husband, Orie L. Jones and one brother, Lewis W. "Jake" Curkendall, Jr., Salem, WV.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James Edward Jones and Jeffrey L. Jones.
Mrs. Jones previously attended the Romines Mills United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed singing with quartets and in her church.
Friends will be received at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 East Main St., Clarksburg
from 2-8 p.m., Thursday where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, 2008
with the Rev. Terry Wilson presiding. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
