After his wife, Anna Catherine Hildebrand died in 1844, JONAS came to America with his 5 children. They settled in Pittsburgh, Pa. The record of his death was found at the Birmingham United Church of Christ "The Rooster Church" at 25 Carrick Avenue, Pgh, PA. His burial is presumed to be in the original one-half acre that was purchased for use as a Cemetery in the 1860's ...... his family ultimately purchased plots there in 1874. The cemetery was then known as Zimmerman's. In 2019 it is known as Birmingham Cemetery. There is no grave marker.
