Lou Ann Durden, of Nunez, Ga. died Friday Morning, September 17, 2010, at Emanuel Medical Center. Mrs. Durden formerly of New Iberia, LA., was born in Patoutville, LA. She had lived here for the past 37 years. She was a retired School Teacher for the Emanuel County Board of Education and a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Swainsboro. Memorial may be made to the St. Jude's Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Mrs. Lou Ann Durden She was precede in death by her Parents, William Robert and Laura Davey, a Son: David Durden, and a brother, Charles "Sonny" Davey. Memorial services will be Monday afternoon at 4:00 pm. in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Rountree and Father Brian Labert officiating. She is survived by: Her husband;Kenneth E. Durden of Nunez. 3 Daughters: Delane Davis of Millen, Ga. Dina D. Doyle (Marvin) of Waynesboro, GA. Daphine D. King of Nunez A Son: Odie Durden (Rhonda) of Garfield, GA. 10 Grandchildren 3 Great Grandchildren 3 Brothers; Virg Davey (PJ) of Nibley UT. Michael Davey (Ester) of Jensen, UT.
