Charles Y. Adcox, 68, of 1206 Willow, a retired employe of Caterpillar Tractor Co., died Monday at his home.
He was born March 28, 1909, in Isabel, and was a son of Charles and Alta Adcox. He married Anna Edwards Sept. 28, 1940. She died April 3, 1962.
Surviving are a foster daughter, Mrs. Cheryl Ann Groeper, Pekin; two step-daughters, Mrs. Betty Edwards, Pekin, and Mrs. June Schroeder, Marquette Heights; and three sisters, Mrs. Harriet Doty, in Tennessee; Mrs. Imo Thorpe, Washburn, and Mrs. Helen Schurter, Tremont.
Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Mr. Adcox was a 37-year employe of Caterpillar, retiring in 1973.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
