Clara Jean Kremer-Hein, age 82, of Chickasaw, died Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Otterbein St. Marys. She was born July 30, 1937 in St. Henry to the late Ray & Hilda (Brunswick) Bruggeman. On September 1, 1956 she married Edgar Kremer and he died in 1990, then on August 18, 1995 she married Fredrick ‘Fritz’ Hein and he died in 2016. She is survived by three sons: Tom & Julie Kremer of Chickasaw, Dan & Eydie Kremer of St. Henry and Rick & Julia Kremer of St. Joe; four stepsons: Merle & Connie Hein of Coldwater, Dale & Jane Hein, Wayne & Barb Hein and Jay & Norma Hein all of Chickasaw; a daughter in law Jackie Hein of Celina; 25 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; siblings and in laws: Mary Ellen Niekamp of Coldwater, Melvin & Betty Bruggeman of McCartyville, Kathy Bruggeman of Las Vegas, NV, Robert & Carol Bruggeman of Coldwater, Jerry Brandewie of North Star, Melvin & Ann Kremer of St. Henry, Bernice & Robert Goettemoeller of FL, Roger & Barb Kremer of Carthagena, Margie & Stan Lefeld of Coldwater, Denis & Susan Kremer of Troy, Gary & Helen Kremer of Maria Stein and Roy & Jane Kremer of Coldwater. She is preceded in death by a son Larry and his wife, Kelly Kremer; a stepson Dean Hein; one grandchild; siblings Dennis Bruggeman, and Lilly Mae Klenke-Mock; and in-laws: Floyd Niekamp, Don Klenke, Ray Mock, and Joan Brandewie. She was a member of Precious Blood Church in Chickasaw, the ladies sodality of the church, St. Ann Rosary Altar Sodality, Coldwater, the St. Cecilia Knights of St. John, Coldwater and Coldwater Eagles Auxiliary. Clara Jean worked at Brodbecks/ Chief Market in Coldwater. She enjoyed dancing, cards and puzzles. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Precious Blood Church, Chickasaw. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater. Friends may call from 2 to 8 pm on Tuesday and 9 to 9:45 am on Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater. Condolences can be left at hogenkampfh.com.
