G. M. Nicely, of Ligonier Instantly Killed.
He was killed while looking out of his cab window of the New York and Chicago Limited as it was on its eastward run and at Lilly Station the Fireman was leaning out of the engineer's side of the cab when he was struck on the head by a mail stand, causing instant death. Body brought to Ligonier for internment.
