Third child of John Wehner and Catherine (Hummel) Wehner Keogh, Regina was the model for the fictional character "Annie Laurie" in the novel "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn," which was written by Regina's older sister Betty Smith. Unlike "Annie Laurie" who is born after her father dies, Regina lived until about age 10 before her own father died in 1913.

Regina's mother Catherine (Hummel) Wehner Keogh, Regina's husband William Hall (d. 1986), her step-father, Michael Keogh, and step-sibling, George Keogh, are all buried in this plot. Also buried in this plot is Regina's brother William Keogh (birth name William Wehner) and a Mary Keogh (c. 1899-1965), possibly William's wife.

With her husband William Hall Regina had two daughters:
Marylynn Langenauer (1934-2021)
Kathleen Yeorg (1942-?)
