Pauline "Mackers" Hansen, 86, of Denver, CO, passed away on Sept. 27, 2008 in Aurora, CO. She was born on Oct. 19, 1921 in Harrells, NC. On Oct. 19, 1937, she married Carl R. Hansen in Denver, CO. She worked side by side with her husband, Carl, who owned and operated Carl R. Hansen Masonry in Denver, after he retired from the Denver Fire Department. She was also a master seamstress and a talented home decorator. Funeral services will be on Thurs., Oct. 2, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ivy Chapel at Fairmount Cemetery, Denver with burial to follow services at the cemetery. Survivors are her sons, Gary (Karen) Hansen, CO and Carl Hansen, NY; twin sister, Lillian Worth, CA; brother, Emmett McKenzie, MN; 7 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Denver Fire Fighters Burn Foundation, 2342 Broadway, Suite 140, Denver, CO 80012
