James Allen Adee, 79, Machesney Park, passed away on October 19, 2019. He was born on October 1, 1940 in Janesville, WI, the son of Donald Adee (Olie) and Elizabeth (Ray) Fitzgerald. He married Sharon Dudley on June 16, 1991. She predeceased him on August 23, 2019. Jim previously owned Dyna-Kleen in Rockford. He was a lifetime salesman and spent years as a realtor working for Dickerson and Adee-Hall Century 21 Realtors. He also worked as a salesman for Case Equipment and Roland Machinery prior to retirement. Jim was a member of the Grand Lodge of Illinois, Winnebago #745 for over 35 years. He enjoyed golfing, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Jim was a diehard Green Bay Packers and St. Louis Cardinals fan.
He leaves behind his children John (Lori) Adee, Kathy (Clayton) Adee, Paul (Sara) Adee, Carolyn (Daniel) Timm, and Amy (David) Gallano; grandchildren, Jimmy (Andi), Keslie (Randy), Klaire (Wally), Jack, Paulie, Sami (Devon), John (Melissa), Margaret (Zac), Abby (David), Grace, Jerald (Sophia), Caleb; great-grandchildren, Ilyana and Emma. Memorial Services will be at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Olson North Main Chapel, 2811 N. Main St., Rockford.
