Polly Ann Gibson, 88, is buried at Colson

Funeral services for Polly Ann Duncil Gibson, 88, were held March 3 at Everidge Funeral Home. Burial was in the Colson Cemetery.

A daughter of the late Ezra and Ella Pigman Everidge, she was born in Letcher County. She died February 29 at Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.

She was married to the late Floyd Duncil, and after his death married the late Charlie Gibson. She was a sister of the late Gladys Holbrook, and was a member of the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Earl C. Duncil and wife Coleen, Kite; a daughter, Mercitus Adams and husband Johnny, Sandlick; two brothers, Emitt Everidge and L. B. Everidge, both of Colson; four sisters, Dicie Jenia, Franklin, Ohio; Samantha Hall, Colson; Nell Williams, Whitesburg; and Wilma Preece, Hindman; four grandchildren, Avery Adams and wife Kathy, Jatanna Hall and husband Keith, Bridgett Hall and husband Larry, and Elizabeth Duncil Honeycutt and husband Randall; six great-grandchildren, Sean Honeycutt, Jonathon Adams, Justin Adams, Emily Hall, Evan Hall, Nicholas Hall, Whitney Hall, and Olivia Hall; and a great-greatgrandchild, Hayleigh Thornsberry.
