June Lucille Richardson, 102, of Independence, Missouri passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019. She was born March 14, 1917 to Lewis and Adeline Clark in Plankinton, South Dakota. She was married Nov 2, 1935 to her loving husband of 59 years Clifford (Dick) Richardson.
June was a buyer of better dresses at Jones Store Company where she retired in 1976. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and outings to the casino to play keno and penny slots. Everyone loved June as she had a way about her to make others feel special. She will be greatly missed by many!
She is survived by her two children, daughter Patricia Ann Ring and son Louis Robert Richardson, as well as five grandchildren Terri Latta (husband Terry), Ron Ring (wife Sheri), Debbie LeBourveau (husband Richard), Stephanie Bueneman and Leslie Vogelsmeier. She also has eight great-grandchildren Jeff, Alyssa (husband Ariel), Nick (wife Brittany), Alex, Shelby, Haley, Sean (wife Dana), Krystal and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister Vennetta Altman, nine brothers Victor Clark, Elza Clark, Richard Clark, Oscar Clark, Chester Clark, Arnold Clark, Elwyn Clark, Jessie Clark and LeRoy Clark.
A Visitation will be held at Newcomer’s Floral Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday October 23, 2019 from 1:00 PM until the time of service at 2:00 PM. Burial will immediately follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.
