William “Bill” Ray Wilmoth, 75, of Winnie, died Tuesday, October 22, 2019. He was born on May 31, 1944, to Grace Ellen Phillips Wilmoth and Thomas Edward Wilmoth, in Decatur, Arkansas, and was a United States Navy veteran. Bill was very mechanically inclined and loved to work on machines and put them back together. He enjoyed barbequing with family, assembling puzzles, taking care of his lawn, and was well-liked by all.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Wilmoth; son, William Eric Wilmoth and his girlfriend, Elaine Duhon; and daughter, Julie K. Wilmoth, all of Winnie; sisters, Virginia Brockway and her husband, Ken, of Hobart, New York and Beverly Smith of Houston; brothers, Earl Wilmoth and his wife, Carol, of Plum Grove, Texas and Donnie Wilmoth and his girlfriend, Melinda, of Cherokee City, Arkansas; grandchildren, William Logan Wilmoth, Brailey Wilmoth, Jace Adamson, and Kayden Adamson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Wave Dalmadge; brothers, Thomas Edward Wilmoth, Jr. and Floyd Wayne Wilmoth; sisters, Edna Brandon and Elise Bayless; and brothers, Freddy Wilmoth, Kenny Wilmoth, and Finis Wilmoth.
A gathering of Mr. Wilmoth’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with his memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 27, 2019, at First Baptist Church, 25304 Highway 124, Hamshire. A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
