He was born Nov. 11, 1920, in Wichita, to Charles W. Fennell and Elma K. Wood. On July 27, 1942, he and Jane Guest were married in Wichita. He served in the U.S. Air Corps and was retired from Boeing. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: wife, Jane; son, Charles Fennell, Jr., of Augusta; daughters, Marty Fennell, Charla Zerbe, both of Augusta, Dana Perez of Seminole, Texas, Dona Dennett of Kansas City, Mo.; brother, Joe Fennell of El Dorado; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
