FRION, EUGENE M.
Eugene "Gene" Frion, age 81, of Oneida, passed away on Sunday afternoon, July 14, 2013 at a local nursing home, surrounded by his family. On January 30, 1932, Gene was born to the late Frank and Dorothy (Hickathier) Frion of Cadott, Wisconsin. On July 7, 1962, he married the former Jan Summers in Milwaukee. Gene was the President of the Green Bay Credit Union Center for many years, retiring in February 1991. During his retirement years he spent much precious time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Jan of 51 years; daughter Mary (Todd) Graves; grandsons: Jon Frion, Connor Kestell and Justin Welton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Armond, Velmor, Erla, Jerald, Delores, Wyman, and Frank Jr. "Bud".
Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, 358 S. Main Street, Seymour from 9 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013. Oneida Hymn Singing will begin at 10:30 a.m. The service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with Steve Baehler officiating. Burial will take place at Fort Howard Memorial Park.
