Alva C. Artis, 83, Bellefontaine died Monday in Mary B Rutan Hospital at Bellefontaine.
Among the survivors are a sister, Mrs. Mary F. Ratleff, 146 S. Washington St., ; two daughters, three grandsons, four other sisters and three brothers.
Friends are being received at the Eicholtz funeral home, Bellefontaine, where services will be held at 1 pm Thursday. Burial will be in Bellefontaine.
