Miyoshi (1929-2007). Randall was a Hollywood director who spent his last
years in Licking. His wife was a Japanese-born actress who won an Oscar for
Best Supporting Actress back in 1957. She is probably best known for her
appearence in the 1961 film FLOWER DRUM SONG. She also played the
housekeeper, Mrs. Livingston on the 1970's series THE COURTSHIP OF EDDIE'S
FATHER which starred Bill Bixby. She died on August 27th, and was buried
next to her husband at Boone Creek Cemetery.
Randall Hood also had a daughter named Tracy.
Randall was a documentary producer and director. Owned and operated a film-editing equipment rental service with wife Miyoshi.
