Civial War Veteran Passes at His Home Six Days After Demise of Mate
Fountain, Mich. March 22, W. S. Wanamaker died at 12:30 Saturday noon, six days after his wife passsed away in the Michigan soldiers' home, Grand Rapids. Mr Wanamaker was too ill to leave his bed to attend her funeral here Thursday.
Mr. Wanamaker, one of the few remaining Civil War veterans, was 75 years of age. He had a wide acquaintance in Mason County, and he and his wife were most favorably know and respected. They were devoted to each other and the deth of wife was a shock to the husband.
