Murder Victim. 12 yrs old Zina disappeared about 9:45 p.m. July 4. She was last seen in the alley near her family's home in the 2500 block of South J Street in Tacoma and was believed to have been abducted. Investigators located her body in Pierce County on July 12, 2007, after they were given information from a 42-year-old Parkland man who is being charged with Zina's abduction and murder.

Standing over four feet tall, this Giant Ukrainian Easter Egg is located in Zina's Playground at McCarver Park in Tacoma, WA.
The park design is meant to celebrate the life of Zina Linnik—who was of Ukrainian heritage—and provide children and families with safe, creative new opportunities to play and enjoy time with family and friends.
