James Lloyd (Jim) Baker 67, of Laurel, passed away Oct. 26, 2019.
Funeral Services will be 1PM Friday Nov. 1, 2019 at the Family Worship Center 1002 W. 1st St. Rushville, IN 46173 with Pastor Darryl Cooper officiating. Visitation will be from 11AM until the time of service. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in southeastern Rush County.
Jim was born in Rushville June 30, 1952 the son of Christine McQueen Baker and the late Lloyd H. Baker Jr. He graduated from Laurel High School in 1970. He was honorably discharged from the United States Navy. He primarily worked as a mechanic throughout his life. He never married.
He is survived by his mother Christine Baker of Laurel; two sisters, Cathy (Mike) Robinson of Connersville and Lori (Doug) Thurston of Shelbyville; one brother, Larry Baker of Batesville; several nieces and nephews.
